Until now, German artist Markus Lupertz has primarily made sculptures from bronze. This new collection, however, goes for something altogether softer: wax and plaster. What isn't new, however, is the artist's interest in classical mythology and the traditions of art history. These colourful figures offer a playful take on historic themes while also showing that it's never too late to try something new.
Before arriving in London, the show is on display at the Musée de la vie Romantique in Paris.
