!Mediengruppe Bitnik (they're very particular about the exclamation mark) are a (post) conceptual art duo (they're also very particular about the 'post') based in Berlin and Zurich. To give you a flavour of what !Mediengruppe Bitnik are all about, they once sent a parcel to Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy as part of a 'live art piece', followed by a bot who did some retail therapy on the Darkweb. Their show at Hackney's Annka Kultys Gallery promises to be just as madcap, simultaneously using and disrupting the internet through their own wily activities.
