Portraits in the Making

Work by 17 craft-makers who met through the Crafts Council's 'Hothouse' programme. Working in jewellery, wood, textiles, basketry, ceramics and glass, the show's contributors have created objects inspired by Sir John Soane's vision that Pitzhanger Manor should be 'a sort of portrait'. A workshop programme allows visitors to gain an understanding of the various processes on display. Part of London Design Festival.
