Known for her plaster cast sculptures, ranging from the small (hot water bottles) to the huge (entire houses), a different kind of Rachel Whiteread artwork will be on show in London this February. Rachel Whiteread: on paper will display a selection of drawings by the Turner-prize winning artist, alongside some related sculptures. This is quite the rare occasion, because for decades the artist has forbidden her work in the two different mediums to be displayed together. Many of the drawings date back to the ’90s and have not been publicly shown before.
