The African-American artist presents tile paintings and bronze sculptures in an environment papered with a repeated image by French-American photographer Elliott Erwitt. Johnson’s wall-based works will be off set by a central sculptural construction that incorporates domestic objects with personal connotations and social significance as well as household plants and books.
