Rob Chavasse: The Gallerist

Artist Rob Chavasse and The Sunday Painter co-director Will Jarvis have known each other for almost twenty years. The Gallerist is Chavasse's attempt to chronicle this relationship, exploring the awkward territory between being friends and being colleagues in the hyper-ambitious commercial arts industry. To make the footage shown as a large scale projection, the artist took inspiration from late '90s and early '00s skateboarding films, splicing together images from the edges of urban life.
