Opening in 1997 with exhibitions by John Currin and Sarah Lucas, now Sadie Coles is a well-respected contemporary art gallery with several London outposts in the city centre. Flooded with light, Sadie Coles’s big Soho warehouse is the perfect place to catch her fantastic roster of artists – Martine Syms, Raymond Pettibon and Monster Chetwynd among them. Keep an eye out for the gallery’s ‘Gargle’ event series too, which hosts monthly live talks, performances and readings from on-the-pulse London artists and collectives. Recent events have been hosted by the likes of Hela Press, Motor Dance Journal and Climax Books.
