Shezad Dawood: New Dream Machine Project

The second work in the gallery's annual 'Parasolstice – Winter Light' series (for which an artist creates a work that explores the phenomenon of light for Parasol Unit's outside space), sees Shezad Dawood install his three-metre-high spinning steel and light sculpture, which reworks Beat Generation artist Brion Gysin and scientist Ian Sommerville's 1959 'Dream Machine'.
