On canvases the shape of plectrums Slater Bradley's gilded works are rendered in silvery whites, dark blues and graphite, giving them a particularly 'spacey' feel. Simple line drawings, they detail the likes of a pulsar map showing the location of the solar system, a hydrogen atom and the correct timescale for one rotation of an LP. Bradley's subject matter is compelling but his paintings can be bland and somewhat lacking. (RD)
