A festival of experimental theatre and performance featuring Sylvia Rimat, Ryoji Ikeda and others, with associated events including free talks by performers and a think tank to spark conversation and invite audience response. Spill thinker-in-residence is Oreet Ashery, who will conduct a series of salon conversations in the Hammerson Room about the festival's theme of 'infection' (daily 4-6pm). There's also a talk by Ashery and feminist film theorist Patricia MacCormack and artist John Cussans asking, 'What are we scared of? What should we be scared of' (Apr 22 4.30pm), which precedes screenings of the 'The Blob' and 'The Invasion of the Body Snatchers'. The 'Spill Tarot Exhibition' (Apr 18-23 1-10pm) features work by 22 artists who have each interpreted a tarot card. Their images are displayed as large-format photographs; a limited-edition pack of cards is available for purchase.
