Using spray paint on canvas, Benjamin Badbones brings street flair to his iconographic works that include elements of repetition. Even the artist's view of his craft is an homage to pop-culture: the artwork has a shelf life - whether that be days on the street, or years in a gallery, time is limited. And as far as connecting to the audience goes, Benjamin says that he paints things that he likes in the hope of other people will like them too.
