Sterling Ruby: Acts + Table

This solo show for Sterling Ruby brings together two of the artist's series, Acts and Tables. The first involves works made with coloured dye trapped in transparent utherene, the second re-works the huge tables Ruby inherited when he set up studio in a former manufacturing warehouse. The artist's work on the tables memorializes their previous use and the heavy, industrial labour that took place on them.
