I love the Muse because it genuinely encourages new and interesting art by nurturing new talent rather than taking a big greedy commission, and by allowing artists space to flourish. It is also brilliantly curated, with some of the best art around, which often goes on to great things.

The only gallery I have visited in West London where the work uplifted me and I felt genuinely welcome.

A real contemporary art venue in West London, not many left. You may not like every exhibition but it's thoughtful, explorative work made by actual artists with a beating heart, a cultural beacon in an area fast becoming a creative dry zone.

I'm looking forward to their upcoming exhibition Hotel 419 by Jonny Tanna. It's a promising looking show featuring collaborations with established artists such as Oscar Murillo and Ed Fornieles, as well as a guest appearance from Aluna Francis. All the best to those involved

It is small but eclectic .. friendly yet professional ... the artwork displayed is always of local interest and wonderfully presented

Rapid turnover and showcasing of new talents and styles. Always imaginative, and lovely space that displays work beautifully with well considered lighting.

Great little art gallery right on Portobello and one of the few remaining art venues around here. They have a programme of interesting visual arts, eclectic music and performance nights, as well as hosting part of Portobello Film Festival. Easily missed on market day, the Muse is well worth looking behind the stalls for.

The Muse Gallery is a place to discover local art. The gallery team is always keen to help visitors and support artists. The Muse is the best!
