Osborne Samuel and Beetles+Huxley collaborate on this extensive survey of photography from the nineteenth-century to the present day. Presented at both galleries, over 150 iconic photographs celebrate the variety and importance of the photographic medium. Ranging from the recently rediscovered street photography of Vivian Maier to rare images of NASA space missions, these iconic images offer a diverse and striking vision of the past 160 years. Among the major names included are Brassai, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Cecil Beaton, Walker Evans, Man Ray, Irving Penn, Robert Mapplethorpe, Margaret Bourke White and Dorothea Lange.
