Curated by both Courtauld professor of 20th century Russian Art, John Miller, and GRAD’s principal curator, Elena Sudakova, UTOPIA LTD is an exposé of Soviet avant-garde art which re-imagines the work of the radical Constructivists for a modern audience. Model maker Henry Milner takes the geometric experiments of EL Lissitzky and Aleksander Rodchenko, the 2D designs of Vladimir Tatlin and the pioneering graphic art of the Latvian artist Gustavs Klucis and turns them all into striking sculptures.
