Murals, performances and film screenings are popping up all over Dagenham's Becontree Estate, as artists work with locals to put a quirky spin on the area's history. The hub of the action is The White House, a once-derelict eighteenth century farmhouse that's been transformed into studios and an event space by community arts organisation Create.
