Time Out says

In collaboration with the Arab British Centre and curated by Omar Kholeif, this multimedia display allows viewers to examine the fascinating construction of Arab pop culture throughout history. Rare film posters from the 1930s and historic publications from Abbdoubi Bou Jaoudeh’s immense collection of Arab film memorabilia are showcased, as well as newly commissioned work by Sophia Al-Maria. The iconic symbol of the pyramid is explored more thoroughly in Maha Maamoun’s film Domestic Tourism II (2009), while Raed Yassin’s video work Disco (2010) points to the more recent ideas of fame and stardom.
