Look away now. For over four decades of his career, William Anastasi experimented with 'unsighted' artworks, creating drawings using the borrowed motion of transport or other semi-controlled states. The artworks in this exhibition include his 'subway drawings', made en route to the New York apartment of John Cage, Anastasi's chess partner. The artist would place the paper on his lap and let the juddering train dictate its markings.
