Last summer the bizarre event of two horses towing William Mackrell in a Citroën 2CV took place through the streets of Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster. If you missed the clever play on words (Deux Chevaux) performance, don’t fear as The Ryder’s inaugural show features a video, sculpture and photograph of Mackrell’s horse drawn journey. Some 427 emails will also be on display to illustrate the bureaucratic hoops Mackrell had to jump through to achieve his performance, even though 100 years ago carriages were commonplace in London.
The gallery has delayed their opening until Jan 29 2015.
