Fancy seeing an art show this weekend but no idea where to go? Well look no further. You can't go wrong if you head down to one of our ten favourite art exhibitions taking place in the capital right now.
To celebrate the success of 'Soaring Flight: Peter Lanyon’s Gliding Paintings' at The Courtauld Gallery, a series of gliding paintings by one of Britain’s most important Post-War artists, we’re giving you the chance to win a private tour of the exhibition, an overnight stay at One Aldwych, and a gliding lesson with the British Gliding Association.
'Soaring Flight' celebrates Lanyon’s experience of gliding through his radical, near-abstract paintings of the coastal landscape of his native West Cornwall. This is the first ever exhibition devoted to Lanyon’s gliding paintings, offering a pioneering account of this important but overlooked body of work. The exhibition runs until Sunday January 17 2016.
One Time Out reader will bag a pair of tickets to the exhibition with a guided tour by the curator, a signed catalogue, afternoon tea in the Courtauld Gallery Cafe and an overnight stay for two with a three course dinner and breakfast at One Aldwych, as well as a gliding lesson with the British Gliding Association.
