The UK's first art history festival comes to South Kensington this February, and you could be there to enjoy its carefully curated events and activities. Two lucky winners will receive a pair of passes to VIEW: A Festival of Art History, as well £500 worth of books from iconic illustrated books publisher Thames & Hudson.
The prize winners will get exclusive ‘golden tickets’ for them and a guest to all events of VIEW: A Festival of Art History at the Institut français in London (February 7-9 2014). The line-up is packed with debates with high-profile museum directors and top art historians, film screenings, kids workshops and unique museum tours. The winners will also be invited to the private launch cocktail party, to help welcome the festival with an art world tradition: free booze. Having been inspired by all they've seen and learnt at VIEW, each winner can start (or build on) their own art library with books from Thames & Hudson worth £500.
