Sonia Delaunay was a key figure in the Parisian avant-garde and became the European doyenne of abstract art. Throughout the first half of the twentieth century, she celebrated the modern world of movement, technology and urban life. Tate Modern’s 5 star exhibition is the first UK retrospective to assess the breadth of her vibrant artistic practice across a wide range of media. Featuring ground-breaking paintings, textiles and clothes she made across a sixty-year career as well as the results of her innovative collaborations with poets, choreographers and manufacturers including Liberty.

As part of our partnership with Tate Modern for this exhibition, we are giving you and a friend the chance to win an overnight stay in the 4 star Millennium Bailey’s hotel, tickets to the exhibition and dinner for two at Tate Modern’s Level 6 restaurant, overlooking the river and St Paul’s.
