It's hard to visit here without taking home a +1 but if you can keep your emotions in check, this is a place worth visiting. There's two areas, one for dogs and one for cats, and a little shop at the end where you can buy something for your furry friend or donate to the shelter.

The entry is really affordable too with adult entry at just £2 and as this is right by Battersea Park, you could join the two together for an easy day out.

For any animal lover it's hard to visit this place without wanting to bring an animal home with you. If you're not in the market for a new pet, you might want to reconsidering visiting. If you do visit, remember to donate on your way in and support the charity's brilliant work.

We visited here in the hopes of rehoming a rescue/stray cat after ours (sadly) died a few months ago. On a busy Saturday morning, as you can imagine, the cattery was lively with feline activity and various animal lovers! Entry was £2 (£1 for under 16s) which you know will go to a good cause. After an extensive interview (as it should be) and less than a week later, we brought home our beautiful new kitty to her new forever home! I recommend visiting here, if you're animal lover, even if you don't want to regime etc. They have a no. Of cats and dogs just waiting to see human faces and the donations will be put to good use! They also do a no. of events for animal lovers such knitting club and more. Thank you Battersea! We now have a new feline friend to love and cherish all over again!

Although the work they do here is commendable the place didn't wow me. There wasn't actually that many dogs and the kennels are now so old. The new cattery was much better but again not many cats - obviously good in a way as they are being rehomed but seems to suggest they could take in more stray animals?

Very friendly staff and cute animals - hard to walk away without one!

The animals seem well tended, and staff/volunteers are knowledgeable and caring. Their dedication to rehoming animals with challenges, like the feline version of HIV, is impressive.
