My local park, I am regularly there, running, walking and playing tennis. I love it!

Right on the Thames and situated next to Craven Cottage and Fulham Palace, it is tranquil and never sees the same volume of people some of the other London parks do.  It has tennis courts, a bowls green, a cafe, large playground area, a skatepark, table tennis tables, basket ball hoops, a large sand pit with water features, bird ponds for the those visiting from the neighbouring wetlands, a great park run, a sunday market...the list goes on! Redeveloped with lottery funding (I think) in 2012, it is a truly beautiful park. But don't come here, I want it all to myself :-D

Bishops Park runs along the North side of the River Thames from Putney Bridge towards Hammersmith.

It is the home of the historic Fulham Palace House and gardens which are also worth a visit independently of the Park. Fulham Football ground is at the West end of the Park Craven cottage.

There is a beautiful walk along the River itself under an arch of trees, with views South over the River towards Barnes and all the rowing clubs. The re cultivated gardens from 2012 offers ponds, water fountains, footbridges, ducks and flowerbeds galore. There are several tennis courts too and an excellent farmers market on a Sunday.

Beautiful Place......

This is a lovely green space right by the river. Usually full of families and dogs having a great time.

My favourite park in London. On the river and far from the roaring of cars on the main road. Nice little peaceful sanctuary.

whats not to love, this park has something for everyone. I enjoy walking my dog, the new cafe is great, its iconic and loved by every one.
