What a gem this is!

If you are looking for a wine and brewery tour that's fun, interactive, informative as well as boozy then this is for you. It is also fantastic value for money.

I was bought the tour as a gift, and was hoping to stay at the onsite B&B but it was sadly booked so we stayed at the Catherine Wheel in Henley (would recommend).

The tour was for a two hour session which included the tasting for the last hour. The tour guide Pat made the whole experience a joy. He gave us a very informative talk on both wine and beer production onsite. Starting with the Brewery and then the Winery which included the bottling and labeling process. This part of the tour was maybe 50mins.

The remainder of the time was spent in the tasting room (happy days!) where we were taught how to correctly assess if a wine is fit to drink, how to properly 'taste' wine and other alcohols (without just pouring it down your throat) along with helpful instructions and ideas for caring for them. In the tasting room I consumed 3 wines, 3 beers and 4 liqueurs. The Blood Orange liqueur was awesome.

Do not plan to drive - you definitely will be over the limit if you taste everything and you'll miss out if you don't.

I would highly recommend this Tour and Tasting - they also hold Weddings through out the year.
