Time Out says

This small community garden was created on the site of the former shoe-making college. The garden's focus is on the wider uses of plants and it has a small medicinal plant bed. Regular dye workshops are held using flowers, leaves, weeds and bark gathered from the garden. This year flax is being grown as part of a London-wide project to grow a garment entirely within the bounds of the M25.
The garden will be open to the public during Open Garden Squares Weekend 2014 on Saturday June 14 10am-5pm. There will be a small exhibition in the shed showing the development of the garden. Visitors will be able to buy plants, cakes, seed bombs, silk scarves dyed using colours sourced from the garden and other products made from plants grown at Cordwainers. There will also be a natural dye workshop on the day, which must be booked in advance.
