Although it’s the least well-known and well-kempt of London’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ Victorian cemeteries, Nunhead is well worth the pilgrimage to south east London. Attend one of the monthly tours to find out about the site’s chequered history, join a woodland tree walk or head to an open-air concert in the derelict stone chapel.
