Posters from the London Transport Museum

An exhibition of posters from the archives of London Transport Museum. This highlights exhibition ahead of a sale in October, features around 50 posters dating from 1913 to 1955. Duplicates of posters already held in the collection, they are being sold to raise money for future acquisitions, conservation and restoration projects at the museum. The full sale exhibition of some 300 posters goes on show at Christie's South Kensington on September 29. Estimates £800-£15,000.
