An oasis of tranquility. This is a nice and quiet park to sit in on a sunny day after a long walk by the river. There are benches where you can sit and enjoy a picnic. From time to time, part of the park closest to the river is home to small festivals. Despite the closeness of the location to tourist attractions, the park is relatively quiet!

A rare stretch of green alongside the River Thames overlooking some of London's iconic historic landmarks. This is a park where people can really chill out with family and friends. The slogan,'Every blade of grass is worth its weight in gold', was used to powerful effect in a lengthy community campaign and a Public Inquiry to successfully curtail plans to develop this area. Thanks to the local community, then made up mostly of former Dockers, this 3 acre park was created. Now refurbished and well-maintained, it's a great place to enjoy being outdoors along the river right in the heart of this major world city.

Great green open space in an otherwise building congested area, for tourists visitors and staff from surrounding buildings to relax during nice weather and enjoy the area and what a great view of some of London's most iconic buildings, and a nice location to hold small events.

love the views, and our dog loves the tourist attention he gets but it's always so crowed unless you go at early hours.
