Set over 100 acres in the Hertfordshire countryside, the marvellously named Rickmansworth Aquadrome is free to visit and has a café and children’s area. Visitors can enjoy wooded walks or go sailing, water skiing and canoeing on its two lakes which were created by the extraction of gravel for the original Wembley Stadium.
