This pretty marina opened in 1828 and was once one of the UK's busiest ports, handling luxury goods such as rum, spices, wines and tea. Nowadays its waterside walkways link offices, luxury homes, bars, restaurants and shops. The Good Food Market offers delicious lunch options every Friday.

One of my favourite spots in London, not least for the amazing view of all the boats in the marina but it's also a perfect lunch time location. While the numerous restaurants and cafes are great, head here on a Friday when they have a food market with a stall for almost every cuisine desire. Prices range from around £5 - £8 with generous portion sizes.

The perfect place for a summer wander, with a great selection of local institutions for drinks and snacks by the harbour. I went to the restaurant on the other side of the building above and highly recommend the large, oven baked pizzas there. If however, you're in the mood for something a little lighter there are also plenty of cafes where you can opt for brunch such as roasted grapefruit with elderflower yoghurt. <3
