The Rotunda
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.
Built as an air raid shelter designed to accommodate 8,000 Londoners, the Rotunda is the most striking structure in Clapham Common. In recent years it has sporadically opened for tours but has largely been allowed to sink into dereliction. But plans are finally underway to secure its future: the above ground section will be turned into a cafe, and the below ground sections into an exhibition space.
