Omg the food hear is just amazing! Incredible Eritrian cuisine with a crepe=sort of bread and the most amazing combination of green beens, red lentils and chickpeas - all different flavours and for such a good price! Also they have cute live music events on some nights of the week - definitely a nice chilled place to check out for a drink and (especially) the food. Thank you!

It's small, cozy and intimate, it has wonderful staff that make you feel at home and part of the family. The Eritrean cuisine is full of wonderful flavours. Prices are reasonable. The live jazz lightens the atmosphere for either an informal night or an event and in combination with the fairy lights and the decor adds to the wonderful character. After that Tim fills the dancefloor with traditional north African music. A rarity of bars in London like this. Truly great, thank you!

A cosy and intimate bar. The tapas is delicious, Fiori was even kind enough to cater for a party for me and the food went down a storm!

A great place to go for a quiet drink with friends mid week and a lively place at the weekends with a friendly crowd. I have had many good nights here thanks to Fiori and her lovely friends and family. Highly recommended!

Some friends of mine suggested I visit Bar 48 and try the eritrean tapas. It sounded intriguining enough to pay a visit and we had a great time. The food was deliciously fresh, varied and plentiful and washed down very successfully with a bottle of finest red which was recommended by the owner Fiori. Lovely chilled atmosphere too. As the light outside changed so too diud the interior ambience. Go. You won't be disappointed.

This is the most cosy south London wine bar, I walked in i was greater with lovely smile from the staff members, the candles the dark and romantic atmosphere was welcoming too.

The bar is fairly new, exactly what we needed in the area, food was great, price very reasonable - ask for a good wine recommendations you will get personal wine tasting.

A friendly place not to be missed.

Naomi thank you for a lovely chat! see you soon
