Time Out says

This Shoreditch High Street bar and café is the sister venue to the popular Clerkenwell haunt, Café Kick. There's more to it than food and drink though, with its two floors given over to table-football, stand-up comedy, live sports and even the odd speed-dating event, should you be looking.

The food menu ranges from burgers, hot dogs, teriyaki chicken sandwiches and pulled pork baps to Spanish charcuterie platters, cheese boards and a chorizo sandwich made with sourdough bread, rocket and piquillo peppers. Keep an eye out for daily specials, too.

There's a Latin flavour to the drinks, with beers from Sagres, Super Bock and Estrella.

Bar Kick is a great location to meet for a night out and their margaritas are worth every penny (some of the best I've had in London). We went early on a Saturday, around 7.30pm, and it was already heaving. One complaint was that it is hard to get a football table - the turnover isn't very quick and you can only reserve them if you're in a group of 10+, so we didn't get a chance to play with just the three of us. Would definitely go back again though - imagine it would be fun for a birthday party of celebration.

Super great vibe! I love this place. The atmosphere is light and fun, it has a foosball table, cheap beer, and groovy music in one of the trendiest spots in London these days. If you're Portuguese like me, then this is definitely a plus, as they have portuguese beer - sagres and super bock. Yass!

Whether you are a season ticket holder, or just like a fun place to drink, Bar Kick, a football themed bar located just off Old Street, is a great bar to check out with friends.

With lots of fuss-ball tables available to book, you can release your inner competitiveness alongside an awesome happy hour which sees their delicious cocktails at 2-for-1 and their selection of beers for less than a fiver.

This place has a really sociable, buzzing atmosphere, playing epic retro tunes on a Friday and Saturday. With big screens and football memorabilia covering the walls, it is also a perfect spot to watch any big games.

This place is always buzzing once the sun goes down. It’s usually filled with a really large crowd but isn’t too crowded, it’s not as rammed as most small Shoreditch bars are and you can get back to your group without someone knocking your freshly poured drink all down your front. Even when there are loads of people hanging off the bar you always seem to get served pretty quickly. It’s perfect for sports fans but also great fun for people with zero interest in football as the assortment on the soundtrack will please all tastes, from 1950s rock and roll and 90s hip hop to newer more mainstream stuff. The main event is the fußball tables, so much fun to play with mates but also with future friends, all the fellow drinkers there are super friendly and sociable. It’s a lively, fun and colourful place, ideal for viewing big sporting events with the same atmosphere as watching in a stadium, after work drinks, or for brushing up on your table football skills.

Football fans, this place is you! Bar Kick is a great sport bar where you can play table football while enjoying a pint and a football game. The atmosphere is very friendly especially during football games. It becomes very lively as you were in a stadium with people screaming and singing. I would definitely recommend this place if you love baby football and watch football in fun place.

This is maybe one of my favourite place in Shoreditch (or in London?)!

I love table football and everything coming with : meeting people easily etc..

The atmosphere I great, people super nice and everyone has the chance to approach the table to play.

If you are thirsty, don't worry, during the week, the happy hours cocktails are really cheap!

What a fun place! I wish more bars were themed like this, there were lots of table football games - which was great for meeting new people in a fun and unique (...if maybe too competitive) way. One of the liveliest places I've visited in London, but in the best way possible! It improved our night out in Shoreditch so much. For Shoreditch High Street the prices weren't too crazy, the bar staff were just as much fun as the rest of the place and I can't imagine how cool this place must be on actual match days!

Vibrant, colourful, cheerful, loud, too busy most of the time, especially when football matches or rugby games etc! Nice place if you're looking for something lively!

If you are lucky enough to get a table (or at least squeeze through the evening crowd to the bar), it’s a great place to get a drink and a bite in East London. Outside tables are lovely for an afternoon meeting on a warm day, but the place turns upside down when the football is on, so, if you are looking for a quiet-ish place to have a drink with a friend in the evening – look elsewhere.

downstairs is basically a mental football cinema, best place to watch the beautiful game in london to my mind. only downside is that they're bit trigger happy with dipping the sound to pipe in whatever gash music they're playing when there's a break or a bit of build up or whatever. never makes sense to me as everyone is blatantly there for the footie. just pisses everyone off and i've got no clue why they keep doing it.

This is my regular spot for sport in Shoreditch (there is a very limited choice). Make sure to get in early to grab a seat in front of the 80 inch TVand away you go..... Great atmosphere, great staff! I agree that the food is rather expensive as is the beer..... But still a good bar in my books.

Just left this place on a night that England are playing a World Cup Qualifier. As I work in the area I know there is a severe lack of nice football pubs/bars so often come here. However I will never be back after tonight when the manager refused to put the sound on for the game but insisted on playing repetitive house music. When I asked the manager if he would put the sound on he refused stating it was a Friday night. I pointed out that since the bar advertises itself as a sports bar this should surely be irrelevant. However his response 'Darling I'm not putting the sound on' was pretty enraging. Disappointing considering I'd already spent a fair amount on two rounds of drinks and a round of overpriced food on the premise that I'd be able to watch a football game in a sports bar, money I wouldn't mind spending to watch a game in what I thought was a good bar. I implore sports fans , especially female ones for fear of being brushed aside 'darlings', to avoid this place.

Bar Kick is by far the best place to go in Shoreditch and their coctails are definitely the best in town. Great staff too!
