Be At One

Battersea Rise was the first branch to open of the Be At One London cocktail bar chain. You can expect loud music tending toward the cheesey side of commercial dance/pop, a party atmosphere, well-priced cocktails (all the classics, plus more exotic specialties with an ice cream base) and friendly bar staff. Commuters will appreciate its proximity to Clapham Junction station.

Be at One is always my choice of bar to go to for Cocktails with friends. It offers a variety of creative mixilogies, great music, amazing vibes and beautiful people to hang around with. It feels like a place that has always been there and yet so fresh and new - this is amazing as this is where the magic began, when 20 years back three lads who love cocktails and want a place to hang out with just the right vibes and fantastic music started it all at this original branch in Battersea Rise.

I feel so lucky to be invited to the relaunch - the bar is now spruced up with new decor, larger, sharper and longer lists of amazing cocktails and a rebranding. This was my first time at this branch, but as I often frequented the other bars in different locations in London, it feels like returning to a place where everybody knows your name and that was what the night was set to be.

I started off with the Banoffee Old Fashioned - the classic cocktail served with a banoffee swirl on top. The banoffee gave the classic flavours nuances bringing out the depth in flavours and characters and is going to be something I will regularly order from now on.

Next were a few rounds of Porn Star Martinis - as we girls debate and try to find the best way to drink this delicious and naughty cocktail. We were naughty - we of course had to go for more than three rounds. Myfavourite way of drinking it will stay sip sip sip from both glasses. You know you're on to a winner when you want to stick to one cocktail all night but hey... we are here to be adventurous and Be at One has LOTS to offer.

Next was the sake based cocktail - you're so sake. It's surprisingly light and transportive with very different flavours. I only had one glass so will have to come back to try more. The next few rounds were equally interesting mixology to tease my palate but as I lost my note book on the journey home, I cannot recall the names. Let me put this to the universe telling me I should go back and take my palate out for another round and more rounds of cocktail adventures at Be At One.

Music was amazing. We danced in the tight space and had lots of fun on a Thursday evening. There were lots and lots of beautiful people to chat to and dance with - which means you're at a great place to party.

I would give this place 1,000 stars if I could but 5 is maximum and you should go and set your palate on an adventure and give yourself a fun night or more fun nights out in London!

This is where Be At One starting their journey 20 years ago and they recently re-launching after refurbishment. The place is cozy and welcoming. Great atmosphere with friendly service. I had a lovely sangria made me feel like I was in Spain. Will pop by for a drink or two when in the area again.
