Blue Bar

Time Out says

A gold card might come in handy at the Blue Bar. If money is no object, it would be easy to rack up a grand’s bar bill, but the average £16 price tag on cocktails is a bit more modest. As such, the setting – as created by the late design guru David Collins – is every bit as luxe as you’d expect for a bar in a Knightsbridge hotel, with blue carried from the walls to the floors, and covering every chair and every menu. It’s not blue to the bitter end, though – on our last visit we found Labour party cheerleader Janet Street-Porter propping up the bar. Don’t be surprised to find a few famous faces from every side of the political spectrum here.
