Super pub/hotel managed by Al and Erica with great charm and expertise and the staff are 99% friendly and professional. It's my local and I'm grateful I live just down the road.
Excellent choice of Youngs and guest real ale, lagers and wines should please all but the really finicky. Food top-class too menu devised and cooked by a real chef not a machine.
However I'm not going to say too much in case too many punters read it and make it more crowded than it already is. The Brewers' level of busy-ness is just right for the times I frequent it. If there's a big international rugby game or a top Premier football match it will be elbow-to-elbow - not my cup of Youngs Special.
I'll look in now and get the free pint Al promised me for writing this! Only kidding, honest...
Great atmosphere, spacious. Very kind and friendly service staff. Delicious, high quality food. Loved the polenta and rosemary chips.
The pub itself has an amazing array of alcohol choices and some incredible food. But what makes it special is the staff, all of whom are professional and friendly making it a home from home.
I'm right now sat by a true fire place with my glass of Merlot in this warm and cozy pub based in heart of Wandsworth. I had the pleasure to stay in up stairs in a large en-suite room with a delicious breakfast (yess, it is also a hotel!!!). Staff is welcoming and helpful this is by far the right place to stay in on holidays if you want to relax, see family and even sightseeing, within a 30 minutes bus ride you can find yourself in the City center.
5 stars to this little and full of life Pub&Hotel.
