A complete walk down memory lane to my days in Manhattan. I only wish there was something a bit bigger on the menu.
Owners Frank & Dan run a tight ship - the food is impeccably sourced and beautifully presented and the coffee second to none. Don't leave without trying the dangerously delicious cinnamon buns.
A little pricey, but totally worth it for fantastic coffees to rival the best in London, attentive service, and a cozy but unobtrusive atmosphere. All the food has the highest quality ingredients with several gluten-free and vegan options on rotation. The staff is very accommodating to kids, babies, and buggies, and they also do a fantastic evening service of selected wines and tapas-style snacks. Can't recommend highly enough.
A fabulous find. The quality of the food is outstanding. Very different from your standard cafe. Lots of Spanish flavours and touches. Wine list is interesting too.
Absolutely fantastic cafe. Wonderful service, delicious food, and if you're lucky you'll spot Chuka Umunna who also frequents. Brunch items always delicious but particularly recommend the houmous.
Delicious coffee and pastries, cool music and a very cool vibe, it's very easy to spend several hours in Brooks & Gao. It's a pleasure to have this unique cafe in Streatham.
Wonderful pastrami sandwiches, sourdough bread, fresh juices, great coffee and now serving wine! Lovely, chilled atmosphere.
