5 out of 5 stars
(39user reviews)

A sister outlet to London Cocktail Club in Fitzrovia, this Covent Garden bar serves a long list of the classics along with more bespoke concoctions (eg the Brixton Riot – passionfruit, Martini Bianco, lychee, cranberry and fresh mint, topped with flaming Wray and Nephew), plus a range of ales, lagers and ciders. Bar snacks are along charcuterie and fish board lines, but their specialty is a one-metre-long pizza, at £30.

Cocktails are amazing, the place was extremely loud so if you want to chat there's no chance, we went on a Monday and had 2 for 1 cocktails, which were all very well made, great flavours. It's a bit grim, dirty carpet but I guess it's the look and feel they are going for. Fun place, fun music.

This bar is hidden away in the heart of Covent Garden. You have to be a member to enter, you sign up online and pay £2 on a door to receive a ‘membership card’. This card however is not needed to enter any of the other London cocktail clubs. When visiting with a large group the whole process of signing up and signing into the guestbook at the door was quite arduous and seemed entirely pointless. The bar itself is in the style of a ‘speakeasy’, it’s very dark inside with very sticky floors but this suits the whole vibe. It gets very busy and has a great atmosphere. Service is friendly and the music is great! You can also get 2 cocktails for £12 until 7pm which is a fantastic deal in the areas. Would recommend if you’re looking for a party bar in the area.

Great atmosphere and the cocktails are well priced and taste fantastic. JJ and James have created a "go-to" place where you will make a special trip to enjoy the club. Keep up the good work guys.

I came here on vacation and ended up coming back every night. It's an infectious and relaxed atmosphere with the tastiest cocktails I ever had. It has the wall street/banker crowd but they knew they weren’t allowed to be douchebags here, lot of suits a lot of ties but they’re like, oh no, we’re not allowed to be dicks now!

An unpretentious cocktail bar. So often cocktail bars are very highbrow and alienating and this was extremely down to earth while still being cool. I felt like part of the gang :)

I always take my friends here when they're visiting. A guaranteed good night out

This is my favourite bar in London, an absolute hidden gem. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and become your best mates. Not to mention the drinks are incredible! SO much fun!!

This is a fabulous little joint tucked away in the more touristy part of the West End. You have to be a member but I'm not quite sure how to join since my companion was already. It's cosy shabby chic but the cocktails are great. With happy hour all night Monday is kind of the new Friday

Great location hidden in Covent Garden, perfect if you're looking for a quiet drink and something a bit different to the chain bars/pubs around the area. Easy to get membership and you'll earn it back easily due to the range of cocktails and the happy hour they run. Personal favourite is just asking for 2 of their cocktail of a month, it's always £10 and changes often - great way of trying something new!

Really great bar, especially if you make it in time for happy hour! There is a weird 'members only' policy but all you have to do to be a member is pay £1 and give your email address...(or at least that was the case when I became a member!) It is quite small so not the best for big groups but the cocktails, music and atmosphere make up for the size!

By far my most favourite bar in London, the atmosphere and music are amazing and the cocktails are simply outstanding! The staff make you feel like you've been friends for years and demonstrate the true skill there is behind being a cocktail bartender!

This place is very unique, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Not to mention great drinks and music you cannot go wrong

This place is Fantastic! Good vibe, great drinks and brilliant staff... Even that one kiwi (keep in mind that its an Aussie leaving this review)

What an amazing venue. Quality cocktails and a slamming party. A must do in london!!!!

For me, a members-only venue can inspire a raised eyebrow or two. I anticipate arrogant staff with conceited clientele to match, operating under pseudo-sophistication and exclusivity.

Thankfully Covent Garden Cocktail Club is the exact opposite of this.

It is one of my favourite cocktails bars in London.

Both staff and guests are super-friendly. Like you, they're there to have a good time.

Start of being swooned by a live piano player, only to find yourself later dancing on your table, whilst the lightbulbs swing in time to the music.

Great for a date. Oh, and the cocktails are excellent too.

A small and intimate bar, hidden away under a quaint little theatre in the centre of London. Staff are lovely, music is great (especially when the pianist is there) and the cocktails are delicious as well as reasonably priced! Great for first dates ;) Cocktails of choice are the Brixton Riot, Espresso Martini, Lynchburg Lemonade and the Bramble.

Love this dark, small, LOUD bar!! A house party away from home. Crazy cocktails with a crazy vibe. Solid gold!

FAB cocktail bar. Nice and cosy in there with a great cocktail menu - tried a different cocktail each time I ordered and enjoyed every one, expecially the one with a chocolate bourbon biscuit! Good music played before live music started with a singer/pianist.

This place kicked off my addiction for Porn Star Martinis. One of London's best kept secret drinking spots, you would hardly know it was there if you were to walk past which means that only those in know with a good GPS tracker find their way down the stairs into the sunken watering hole. Cool DJ's with occasional live laid back lounge tunes coming from the piano, you'll witness the bare being set alight several times a night and be met with a friendly face by the staff to help you choose the perfect drink to help get your night started. Never had a bad night here. Brilliant for an intimate date or a small gathering of friends. Bare in mind that you need to call ahead to put your name on the list and buy your £1 membership card when you arrive so that your guests can join you, only 1 membership card needed per group.

I always have a great time when i visit the guys down at CGCC! You can party on the tables until the early hours of the morning while drinking some amazing house cocktails while the bartenders know a strong list of classics to choose from, best martini i have had in ages!

Best party in London!! Was in last night n loved it, great drinks, massive choons and the guys on the bar smash it! Will be back very soon :-D

Fabulous place, best night out I've had in a long long time. So refreshing to find a tourist-free place so centrally. A little oasis in the hustle and bustle of london town! Great music, great staff, great everything. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Simply wonderful!

I work at this bar currently but have been going to it have a great time long before i started working there. What alot of people don't understand is the history behind it. A small group of passionate young bartenders risked it all and put everything on the line to follow their dream and hard work and dedication and untold blood sweat and tears turned it into one of the most successful chain of cocktail bars in London. Built by hand from the ground up by the very same people making you the fantastic cocktails night after night, year after year. An unstoppable force in the drinks industry. Steve Tarr

Booked a table when arrived someone else on it. Waited half an hour for our cocktails ( 2 mohitos) bar staff took order and did about 15 other cocktails at same time so i was stood at bar with my money for almost 30 mins seeing our drinks half done and in the end we left and told bar staff to drink them themselves, as bar tender was drinking straight from the bottles when doing cocktails. Told woman on door on way out what a disgraceful place this was and she just shrugged and couldnt care less. Staff were rude and unfriendly. Calustrophic, badly misrepresented on website, piles of rubbish on stairs on entry, dirty, grubby and horrible DONT ever go there, we will never set foot there again, truly awful place.

Cracking party bar, with great happy hours! Perfect for date nights, never fails to impress! Ive been to a few birthday/leaving doo's and they all ways get crazy! Cant shout about it enough!

Love the place, staff are amazing and the cocktails are delicious! Intimate venue with good music. just love it!!

Best bar in Covent Garden by a mile. "Sister bar" to the LCC.... the dirty little sister more like!
