Davy's Wine Vaults

Davy’s Wine Vaults in Greenwich was first established in 1972 and has grown to the point where it now stocks over 100 different wines, including a large variety of both old- and new-world bottles and fine wines, some of which are available by the glass. The adjoining shop carries an even wider selection, but it’s not all about the vino. Head chef David Kirby has created a menu of canapes, snacks and appetisers – pan-fried halloumi with chorizo, mini Welsh rarebit and the like – and a bespoke buffet menu is offered at £16 per person. A live jazz band plays every Sunday.

Davy’s wine bar is made up of small conjoined rooms with raised seating perfect drinks and smaller tables around the restaurant for dinner and small nooks are great finds for a quitter time. The wine list is extensive with fantastic quality. The food is a tad expensive but full of flavour and served by friendly staff.

I would rate Davy's 10/10. Their wines are superb and their vault is beautiful. Their staff are friendly and they even provide food!
