Lively atmosphere and great selection of beers, cocktails and whisky.  They do events most weeks, which adds something interesting to the mix (whisky tastings etc.).  My only complaint is that it's often hard to get a seat downstairs, even when not too busy, largely due to the layout. A must visit after work if you're near Shepherds Bush.

This is really my favourite pub in London! Cosy, always great music, lovely staff! Always feel like home there. My partner and I go there regularly and it's everytime the same feeling! :)

Going to a gig at the Empire? Tired of trawling the shops at Westfield? YOU NEED THE DEFECTORS. By far and away the best pub in Shepherd's Bush. SB should be a haven of great pubs and bars, but it's sadly lacking. But this is why the Defectors is a beacon of light in the dark. Fun upstairs bar, great decor, and handily located between the two Shepherd's Bush tube stations to boot!

Came here with a friend after a concert at the O2 Empire nearby - great vibes. I had to point out the Sipsmith to the girl working the bar, but once I did, she made me a bang up G & T. It was busy but not crazy packed, and after a bit of standing, my friend and I were able to grab a table to hang out at. I'd definitely return after another show!
