Time Out says
After finding the DSC (not easy for first-timers), descend the steep stairs and watch your head so you don’t bump it on the incredibly low ceilings. The effort is worth it: DSC may look like just another wood-heavy, dimly atmospheric London ‘speakeasy’, but in quality it’s made-to-measure rather than prêt-à-porter. What marks it out is profound and polished skill behind the bar: we’ve watched a single bartender manage three large orders at once, doing everything in the right order and not wasting a second. The changing cocktail list can sound wacky (Captain Cobbler is dark rum, amontillado sherry, kumquat, ginger and honey marmalade, pink grapefruit and IPA top), but in our experience here wacky always equals wonderful. Ordering off-list is always a safe bet. Gents in suits love it. So do those wearing denim, ink and facial hair. One size definitely fits all here.

One of my favourite speakeasy bars hands down. This gem is cleverly hidden as an old suit company front. When you enter into the basement you're brought into a cave-like cozy brick setting, with dim lighting perfect for a romantic drink date. The cocktails are classic, and most being £8, you can't go wrong with that price! Book a table if you have more than two, there is very limited seating!
Simply one of the coolest bars in London. The cocktails are super tasty and perfectly executed for a good price (around £8). The service is excellent and friendly, I just love this place !!
The no brand entrance and subterranean location give it a speakeasy feel and the personal service and knowledge of the staff was an experience in its self. It is a quirky and cosy find, that makes you feel like it's only 'you' that knows about it, whilst your sitting in comfy chairs relaxing. We will definitely return.
I went for drinks/cocktails to start of my evening and all I can say is that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bar! I had a whisky to start with, overall the taste was great but what I did LOVE was glasses and bottle it was presented in I even took a photo! The cocktails where fab and the reason being lots and lots of alcohol very generous, I love my drinks to be strong so I was more than satisfied! The venue its self is tucked away, I loved the brick walls the country feel along with the low lighting perfect for a date! I will 100% be back again soon! :)
So I finally made it here after living round the corner for a year and a half… and it's great! Clever cocktails, decently priced, friendly atmosphere and a DJ perched at the end of the bar playing soul. It's absolutely tiny but it wasn't too crowded to find a ledge on a Saturday evening. I only had time for a swift one but I'll be back for a leisurely evening.
