I really love this place. They have a great range of beers on tap (including some great dark beers), plus an awesome food menu. The burgers are great and even better they do a 2 for 1 offer on them on a Monday night.

My new favourite bar in Hammersmith. Taking over from the former Laurie Arms (gentrification, eh), this is a great pub with some excellent beers on tap (although how great your experience is depends on which member of staff serves you - some are a lot more enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their beers than others). Sunday to Wednesday sees £5 paddles, whereby you can pick 3 tasters (1/3 pints) of pretty much any draft beer on tap, with a few exceptions. The half price burger night on Mondays is also well worth a visit - this is one of the best veggie burgers I've had anywhere in London.

I had just had a Sunday roast not too far away and I fancied a post roast pint.

Well wow what a selection!

The bar man was fantastic, offered me tastes and I told him about a recent beer I had and he helped to find a similar.

I was very satisfied with my choice although he warned it was £6 for the pint I picked!

You will find many different beers, lagers and ales on both draft and in can and bottle form.

The place itself has modern decor and some cute outside areas.

Check out this lovely leaf floral wall, if you want this backdrop for you pictures you need to be lucky as only one table in this little snug!

This Draft House, located a stones throw away from Hammersmith tube station, is a huge space, with a cool bar, outside space and a separate dining area (sort of). I've been to a few Draft Houses before so knew the beer options are always good however have never eaten.  Thiiiis time man did I eat. I went for their six nations burger which was jam packed! The burger was cooked to perfection and the bun was good (something I don't normally rate). The chilli fries were a bit average but getting them had been a greedy decision anyway! I got to try a few different London brewed beers that I hadn't had before and came away truly satisfied. A must for any burger and beer fiend.

In terms of layout and comfort, this is my favourite of all the Draft House pubs - with lots of comfortable and funky banquette seating and a proper fire. As you would expect there’s a plethora of regular and guest beers, both on tap and in the fridge. The staff are always knowledgeable with recommendations and happy to let you try samples.

The food is a little style over substance - the menu looks and reads great but the food itself can feel a little standard.

You can’t, for instance, say how you want your burger cooked which is a little behind the curve.

My last chicken burger was supposed to be stuffed with blue cheese but there was barely any cheese in it which was disappointing. But their bar snacks (scotch eggs, pork scratchings, fries) are perfectly fine accompaniments to the drinks.

The real strength lies more in having a few slow pints and relaxing in the environment without feeling that you have loads of people on top of you. A perfect place to chill out on a Sunday!
