German Kraft Brewing
Venue says The latest brewery on the London brewery scene bringing you fresh, unfiltered German beers in Mercato Metropoitano in Elephant & Castle.

This German craft brewery located inside the food hall at Mercato Metropolitana apparently prides itself on using water distillation and mineralization technology to produce its brews. The hops, malts and recipes are sourced from Steinbach Bräu, a 400-year-old Bavaria based brewery, which produces all its beer by hand.

German Kraft’s drinks menu includes the Heidi Blonde lager, Hopfen Kiss pale ale and Edel Weis wheat beer. Most are served fresh out of the tank or from reusable containers to keep things sustainable. As well as seeing the brewing process in action, punters can order German-style nosh if they’re feeling peckish.

Look out for ‘Kraft sessions’ – a regular live music night that takes place among the fronds and kegs of the bar’s brewgarden. And if you don’t fancy the trip to Elephant and Castle? Steins restaurant stocks the German beverages at its Richmond branch.

Good news for all beer aficionados! You don't have to go all the way to Germany for your next authentic German tipple, you can now enjoy it in Elephant & Castle! Nestled inside the food and drinks mecca called Mercato Metropolitana, German Kraft Brewing pours the German favourites like Wiess and Hefeweizen beers to go with your choice of street food from the market.

Awesome space! Really impressive brewing Kit and super nice outdoor space that just opened. These Germans really know how to deliver with their product and making this London's coolest brewery & taproom!

Favourite new brewery in London. All the beers are so drinkable and remind me of Germany. The staff is super friendly and engaging and all the food from the small selective menu is amazing! 5/5
