Awesome vibe at Kansas Smitty's! Saw the Kansas Smitty's House Band on 16th Aug 2017. Bar was ram-packed and everyone was loving it! Fantastic cocktails! Lovely, friendly bar staff and amazingly talented musicians! Can't wait to go again soon!

The best and the coolest little jazz club in London. Some of the most swinging music you'll hear anywhere, with the emphasis on making you feel good. The vibe is trendy, but authentic. At first it all seems laid back and chilled, but when you spend more time there you realise there's actually an incredible attention to detail that makes for a great all round experience. The bar serves a great line in designer juleps, but can just as easily create you a tailored virgin fruit cocktail. The house band is fantastic and thoroughly deserves it's growing popularity and reputation. I really can't recommend a trip to Kansas Smitty's highly enough. Get yourselves down there - you can thank me later x

Awesome bar on Broadway Market. The bar's house band; Kansas Smitty's are the best band I have seen in London. Brilliant Jazz in an intimate setting with great Julep cocktails. Well worth a visit particularly on a Wednesday night when they're in in full swing. Love it.

Cute intimate speakeasy-style basement bar. Have only been once, but was very impressed. Nice atmosphere, good mix of people and the music was spot on. Some of the house cocktails were a bit pricey (well, London prices) but so so nice - the Hard Times whisky cocktail was a personal favourite! Overall would definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit

Fantastic bar in the awesome Broadway Market area of London right by London Fields. I go here all the time. The live music is always so good, and the drinks are always excellent. Well worth a trip if you aren't local!

I've been visiting Kansas Smittys now for the past 6 months and it's my favourite place to drink. They have world class music on show and delicious cocktails. This bar really is a one off!!

Went down to Kansas Smitty's for the first time on Saturday, was really lucky to get a seat. Music was so good and the drinks were great (although I didn't try a Julep)

Planning to go again soon

Love Broadway Market !!!

I booked tickets for one of Kansas Smitty's regular jazz nights and the live music was fantastic. Hidden in the basement of a bar, you need to know where you're going to find it. Don't expect loads of room to dance and be prepared for the room to get very hot, but you won't be disappointed by the music. The cocktails aren't cheap and the small bar means getting served can take a while, but it's definitely the music you come to Kansas Smitty's for.

The idea behind Kansas Smitty’s seems appealing - a speakeasy in the basement of a bar on the Broadway Market. In reality though, we were the only ones there on a Friday night at 8:30 and the bar didn’t really feel like it had that much character. Despite nobody else being there, the girl at the bar couldn’t be bothered to bring menus to our table or take our order. The cocktails cost £8 and £9 and the menu consisted of five Juleps, four house cocktails and some wine and beer. They didn’t have the ingredients to make one of the house cocktails we were going to order so we instead went for Juleps. The Allotment Julep was really nice and refreshing with gin, elderflower and coriander. The Jesuits Bark Julep was also nice with a strong flavour of rum and mint. There was a drum set and piano in one corner and apparently there’s live music some nights of the week. I can imagine Kansas Smitty’s would be nicer with a band going and a few more people, but on our visit the atmosphere fell flat.
