A pub without a bar, but lots of lovely suds to try in Brockley.
Much like its abbreviation-twin the little black dress, the London Beer Dispensary is practical, reliable and on-trend no matter the season. We're not totally convinced by the ‘no bar’ thing (the kegs are plumbed through a giant serving barrel which staff try to lean on casually while they talk you through the beers; casks are stacked against the walls) but everything else is bang-on, from the burger-led food menu to the cute little garden. Work your way through the handful of well-chosen guest beers or fall back on the solid collection of Southey Brewing Co options – the Penge-based brewery owns the pub.

Very good selection of craft beers. Chilled but buzzy atmosphere. Quality burgers. Very easy to settle in for the evening.
Great beers, always happy to let you try before you buy, decent burgers. You can usually find a seat.
Who doesn't lovely local craft beer and cider that changes so you can explore your taste palette in the same friendly, quirky, cosy venue? Plus also provides some pretty amazing grub. Absolute winner.
Such a great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food! The variety of beers is delectable and creative, my favourite and luckily my local!
Bar-less bar with delicious burgers, chicken wings and what seems like an endless selection of beers.
Awesome beer, awesome food (best burger i've had in London), awesome music and an all around great vibe. Wholly worth the trip down to the Saaaath East!
Love the beers, and the atmosphere. Not had the burgers as there isn't a veggie option - but they look great!
