London Cocktail Club

Time Out says

With four successful branches dotted around central London, London Cocktail Club have gone East. Shoreditch to be exact – where they are serving up their signature cocktails in a biker-themed bar, with two floors of black leather sofas, studs, green velvet and plaid. It's pretty much a rocker’s paradise.

As you might have guessed, cocktails play a lead role here. Classic mixes like mojitos, martinis and margaritas sit alongside creative house drops such as the won ton bomb (Red Bull jelly on a spoon served with chilled Jägermeister and a touch of Tabasco), the bacon & egg (Jack Daniels Old No. 7 infused with bacon and mixed with maple syrup, orange bitters and lemon juice) and the bump & grind - the LCC take on an espresso martini, with Stoli salted caramel vodka, Tia Maria and the house coffee mix shaken hard and served chilled.

Keep an eye out for cocktail masterclasses and special events, too.

London Cocktail Club says
Shoreditch LCC just so happens to be within spitting distance of Boxpark – nestled between Bethnal Green Road, Shoreditch High Street and Brick Lane. This biker-themed bar is a blend of British Americana, with an impressive American whiskey selection on offer, too.

A pretty great place to grab drinks. My friend and I came on a Thursday night and it was quite frankly very "lit". They were playing some real tunes, though a little too loud as the night went on. It became hard to speak to my friend even though we were sitting next to each other. The cocktails were super good! We started with the Long Island Iced Tea, which was surprisingly good! It wasn't too sweet and the coca-cola in it tasted better than usual. We then had the Lavender Paloma, which was really good too. A little too sweet but strong! The bartenders were also super friendly and helpful in recommending cocktails.

London Cocktail Club is an interesting bar with great drinks. I went during their happy hour, which is 2 for 1, and got to try a bunch of their unique cocktails. The staff were really friendly and though the bar was too dark and loud for a Tuesday, the drinks were extremely strong and delicious.

I tried the Heisenberg (below) - which came with a bag of salt that I was told not to put in the drink because it was gross. I'm not a fan of unnecessary garnishes but the drink was good - and The Apple Smash which comes with a cookie and was also really nice.

A friend and I signed up to go to Rockaoke at this bar on a Thursday night in October... the rest is history.

(The rest of this review is what I can remember of the night.)

I LOVE the vibe here - very dive bar with some really cool design features (see the pictures above). Our server was SUPER attentive and very funny - we made quick mates with her shortly into the evening. The bar happened to have a special on Jack Daniels-related drinks so we took full advantage... I don't know how many I consumed but hey it was Rockaoke night and I'm all about living that rock'n'roll life when I can so why the hell not!

That was truly the first and last time I was hungover in London... but what a way to go.

I'd go back, Rockaoke night or not. I loved how quirky it was for Shoreditch - not super hip, but just the right amount of laid-back cool. I dug it.

I don't know if its because I'm used to more exotic and dynamic tasting cocktails from places like "Lounge Bohemia" and the "Artesian" bar at the Langham but I just wasn't impressed by the london cocktail club.

I found the decor dark.. And not dark in a warm sexy way but dark in a "are they hiding the cleanliness of this place by the lighting" kind of way. The cocktails I had lacked dynamic and levels. They were alright and at 2 for £12 its a bargain!

One of the staff members practically coerced me into giving the "optional" charge. He shouted at me insisting I pay it ... I calmly told him that it was optional which he pretended not to see. Long story short I didn't pay it.not with that service!.. Have I been back? Nope. Would I recommend it? Not with all the other great bars around town ... Sorry

Great place with super friendly staff! A friend and I turned up on a Wednesday at 7. It's quite a small place and we were lucky to get a seat so I would definitely recommend booking!

It's cute with sofa seating around the edge opposite the bar and small tables. Also lighter than the other branches as there is a window (others in basement). Menu is the same as all the others - plenty of choice with lots of different cocktails that you won't find anywhere else, presented in awesome ways!
We had two each - movie night (delicious chocolatey creamy alcohol with popcorn on top) and the Heisenberg (strong but tasty) and my friend ordered fortune cookie and a fruity drink I can't remember the name too!
Highly recommend this place - also try the Shoreditch brand!

The cocktails are to die for- reasonably priced too. I had an amazing night celebrating my my friends birthday party  the staff were extremely kind and friendly. It has a really great atmosphere and I can't wait to come back again. Thanks for making my night memorable and amazing

Hadn't been to this venue before and so glad I came across it. The cocktails were to die for- reasonably priced too. I had an amazing night celebrating my birthday here- the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. It has a really great atmosphere and I can't wait to come back soon. Thanks for making my night memorable!

I visited LCC Shoreditch last Friday and had an absolutely amazing time! We arrived at 6pm which meant that we could take full advantage of the happy hour and although we had other plans we ended up staying until almost the end of the night,  due to the bar staff being so lovely and the drinks being extremely tasty. Would like to thank all the staff, we will see you again very soon! x

The We would have registered an official complaint about the bouncer Ashley. He physically assaulted my friend by using unreasonable force to eject him without warning. This is unacceptable. My friend was dragged on the stairs and I was pushed for no reason at all. The managers attitude was appalling when we tried to register a complaint. We called the Police to register our complaint and will be pursing this matter to press charges. We are asking them

to disclose their CCTV footage asap.

We spent a whole evening in the Club spending a lot of money. It is inconceivable that we are treated like this.
