I have only been here once and I didn't have a particularly great experience, so I haven't returned. The "poutine" was just fries, gravy and shredded cheese, which is basically sacrilege to any Canadian. The novelty was more silly than fun, in my opinion, and the atmosphere was really that of any other pub in London that young people frequent... my friends and I were hit on by some middle-aged American men, which was also not so fun.

I wonder how much it has changed since then... but I'm not sure if my curiosity is enough to warrant another visit.

I've never been to Canada. But I imagine every bar in Canada must be like this one! Wood effect inside like a log cabin, pin-ups of hockey shirts, north american sports on the TV. Canadian flags everywhere. Great atmosphere, a bit of novelty too. Choice in bottled ales is amazing, they stock the Canada's own Moosehead beers and ales. I've had the Moosehead Pale Ale now several times, it's a great light beer. Definitely worth a visit, it's tucked down one of the side streets behind Covent Garden, it's a great find.

Like being back in Canada for a day.

Everything about the Maple Leaf reminds you of Canada, from the ice hockey on the televisions to the

poutine on the menu, it's just like being back in a sports bar in Vancouver.

Definitely worth a visit
