great, all the issues listed in the review above are sorted. good food, booze and friendly easygoing service. Beer garden too, i'd make it my usual if I lived closer.
So I guess the secret is out, this is honestly the best craft boozer with food in London. If this place was nearer to my house I would have an alcohol problem as there beer selection is always good and varied with a number of brewery's on cask and keg, they also make the effort to have a couple of different ciders from the normal watery stuff offered in most other craft beer pubs. The staff are friendly and know their stuff and are more than welcome to let you try before you buy. I have been coming here with my boyfriend and friends for almost a year and it is a real gem of a place, you can always find a seat and actually hear each other when you talk. The food is good too and would highly recommend their pulled pork burger. Just hope I can still get a seat in there now I have shared the secret!
A lovely pub! Great selection on tap, and the food is very good. The burger is particularly delicious. As a transplanted American, I have to say that their take on American food is well-done. The atmosphere is just what you want in a pub: clean, comfortable, a number of different spaces. The music is always at a reasonable level for conversation, and the TVs are off in one area (and I've only seen them on for sporting events once).
This pub actually has the best string hoppers (served with vegetarian curry and coconut sambol) in london, and the best barman Andy.
Good vibes all around.
Great pub with niceambience, friendly people, good range of beers on tap and hearty food! A must for movie fanatics.
Friendly neighbourhood pub. Lovely staff, good selection of drinks and great food. Genuine community asset
Excellent pub for a quick pint or, even better, a roast on Sunday. The theme really works, giving it an interesting and unique look. Manager and staff made us feel very welcome
