Great location, wide selection of beers and a quintessentially cute English pub. You know when your friends from overseas want you to take them to a Traditional English pub? This might just be the perfect spot after spending the length of Oxford/Regent Streets.
Small, normally pretty busy but always plenty of atmosphere. It's not the smartest and lacks any real outdoor space but there's a good selection of beers and typically English menu on hand - perfect for tourists. I'm not sure what the deal is but there's sporadically live music on offer although outside of holidays (such as Paddy's day) it seems a much rarer occurrence.
In a good location, this is a traditional, typical London no-nonsense pub.
